With 3 brightness levels and two modes, this headlamp can supply 200, 100, or 20 lms of light as either a focused spotlight or as a wide area light. As a spotlight it can project its light beam out 310 feet (96m) on high, 210 feet (65m) on medium, and 90 feet (28m) on low and as an area light it can brighten out to 65 feet (20m) on high, 45 feet (14m) on medium, and 18 feet (6m) on low.
The micro USB rechargeable Li-ion battery pack can power the headlamp in either spot or area mode for 5.5 hours on high, 12 hours on medium, and 26 hours on low power and can be recharged from any USB or standard outlet with the included micro USB cable and wall adapter. The headlamp is held by an adjustable bracket that allows the light beam to be directed to where you need it, and the comfort-fit headband is fully adjustable and can be secured to a hard hat with the included clips. The clips are insulated for 600V and can be easily removed when not needed or if they require replacing.
To allow for hands-free use, the motion sensor feature can be engaged to allow you to turn your light on/off with a simple wave of the hand and can be preset to different light modes. A red safety light is also built into the battery case that can be set to either constant on or flashing modes. The ABS plastic casing and polycarbonate lens are rated IP65 for dust and waterproofing so you can be confident knowing you will have reliable light whether in a dusty inspection job or a rainy camping trip.
