In 1985 it was Otis® passion for the outdoors that led to founding. A few short years later it was passion for this country that led to the beginning of Otis Technology becoming the Standard Issue of the US military. Founded in a small town in Northern, NY, Otis has been built on hard working, dedicated patriots. In the beginning, four person assembly teams worked around the clock to provide the necessary equipment to support Otis special forces during the Gulf War. When the world turned upside down in 2001, took Otis commitment to the military a step further and turned this focus away from the commercial market to focus efforts on doing part to protect warfighters both at home and overseas.
