Utilizing Bayco's exclusive Dual-Light design, this light combines a tight-beam long-throw flashlight, with a wide-beam non-focused floodlight. Powerful flashlights are designed for illuminating distant objects, and this item is an excellent example of that. Rated at 260 meters (a little over 850 feet), the 220 lumens CREE LED flashlight beam in combination with its deep parabolic reflector, make the flashlight on the 9914 one of the best.

A flashlight that powerful and focused, is too bright to use close up. That's the idea behind the Dual-Light design. In addition to its flashlight, this flashlight incorporates a non-focused 180 lumens floodlight into the handle expressly for the purpose of providing the perfect illumination of areas close by. Additionally, this flashlight provides two additional lighting modes, Dual-Light having both the Flashlight and the Floodlight running at the same time, thus allowing for dual illumination of both distant objects and ones that are close. And finally, Strobe providing approximately 2 flashes per second of the flashlight beam. The Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery provides up 5 hours of continuous run-time but only requires 3 hours to fully charge itself. Back-up power is available thanks to the included CR-123 Battery Carrier. Simply place 3 CR-123 Lithium Batteries into the carrier and substitute it for the rechargeable battery, and the light will run for another 2 hours. The single body switch and tail switch work in tandem to control all the functions Flashlight (momentary/constant-on), Floodlight, Dual-Light and Strobe.
